The development and maintenance of CIBs at the University of Utah must align with the guidelines set out in the Centers, Institutes, and Bureaus Interim Guidance Document developed by the Graduate School. These policies are explained in greater detail in the sidebar links. They must also conform to Regents’ policy 6001.

The CIB Interim Guidance Document will be in effect until there is a significant revision by the Academic Senate regarding the proposal and maintenance of Centers at the University of Utah.
